THE PRODUCTION PROBLEM

Your site keeps doing business.
Your release process should respect that.

A new template belongs in production. Yesterday’s test orders do not. WordPress changes need a clear boundary between what moves and what stays.

↗MOVE WITH THE RELEASE

The changes your team approved.

  • Templates and presentation changes
  • Supported plugin configuration
  • Custom field definitions
  • Reviewed content and dependencies

Promote a scoped release with an explicit policy.

◇KEEP WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

The data your business depends on.

  • Live orders and customer records
  • Subscription and operational state
  • Production credentials and tokens
  • Environment-specific integrations

Preserve production-owned state as changes land.

ONE CONNECTED LIFECYCLE

From “it works on staging”
to a release you can explain.

01

Prepare safely.

Refresh non-production with a sanitization policy. Mask sensitive data and constrain outbound integrations.

02

Review deliberately.

Inspect change scope and dependencies. Hold unfamiliar plugin data for classification before it moves.

03

Promote with control.

Apply approved changes while preserving production state. Keep an execution record for the release.

HOSTED CONTROL. LOCAL EXECUTION.

Coordinate centrally.
Act where WordPress lives.

The architecture pairs a hosted control plane with a site agent: coordinate policies and approved releases centrally, then discover and execute locally.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few useful answers.

Is WP ControlOps another migration plugin?

The focus is the ongoing release lifecycle: scoped changes, production protection, sanitization, and approvals across environments. Moving an entire site is a different operation.

Will it work with my plugins?

Compatibility depends on each plugin’s data model. Early access starts with your estate and a defined set of supported integrations; unknown data requires review.

Do I need to change hosting?

The intended model connects existing WordPress environments through a local agent. Hosting requirements and compatibility are assessed during evaluation.

How can I take part?

Request an early-access discussion with your site count, important plugins, and release challenges. We will use that context to discuss scope and fit.
